    Professional Responsibilities / Bio

    Barbara has been a disability rights advocate, professional social worker in the Greater Rochester area serving the Deaf community and those facing hearing loss or dual sensory loss, and provides pastoral counseling and care in a church setting where she also serves as co-pastor. Her interests include community-based health and human services, gerontology and disability studies and helping stuents learn and hone the basic skills necessary for human service work.
