Dr. Christopher Grill has been a faculty mentor in political science and American history at Empire State College since 2009. His educational background is in American government, political thought, and political history and culture, with specializations in the Revolutionary period (1765-1800) and New Deal era. He has a wide variety of academic interests beyond these areas, however, and at ESC has taught or co-taught courses in subjects ranging from modern American economic policy and how people think about politics to Hollywood's Golden Age in the 1930s/40s and contemporary environmental issues.
