Peggy Lynn has been teaching for ESC for 13 years. She enjoys combining her love of music with her historical knowledge to develop engaging studies such as Music across Cultures, American Roots Music, Women in Song, and History of American Musical Theater. Peggy is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and touring performer. She did the research on American women's suffrage songs for the folk theater production Forward into Light. Peggy's original songs span several genres and themes, including feminist anthems, children's songs, ballads of strong women, humor, and blues.
