I am the Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the School of Undergraduate Studies at Empire State College.  I also service as the Interim Dean for Digital Learning, innovation, and Strategy.   My scholarly interests include political theory, the social and political impacts of digital media, the effects of automation on the future of work, and the Catholic intellectual tradition.  If you are interested in doing an independent study in any of these areas, or if you would like to learn more about the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
