Melissa Zgliczynski

Melissa Zgliczynski has over 15 years of experience working with students with disabilities. She is currently the Director of Accessibility Resources and Services at SUNY Empire State College where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the Office of Accessibility Resources and Services. In addition to providing accommodations and resources for students with disabilities, the office is also focused on providing professional development for faculty and staff on topics related to supporting students with disabilities. At her previous institution, Ms. Zgliczynski served as Director of Students with Disabilities where she began an academic support program for students with learning differences. She is an active member of the Collegiate Consortium of Disability Advocates, which is an organization of secondary and post-secondary professionals who provide trainings and resources for students and families of students with disabilities. She has presented on topics such as universal design, supporting students with learning differences, and campus collaboration with disability services at local, state, and national conferences.
