I am currently serving as the chair of the Department of Computer Sciences and Technology. I hold a Ph.D. degree in the Management of Information Systems and Technology. I also earned Master’s degrees in the fields of MIS and IS. I received my B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. Prior to joining Empire State College, I worked as an instructor at another institute; as a graduate student, I held various teaching, research, technical, and administrative positions. As part of my volunteering work in our local community, I am serving on the board of Society for Information Management’s Albany Chapter. I am the nonprofit organization’s STEM/Outreach Committee chair organizing our efforts to advance STEM education, close the skill and gender gaps in STEM, and bring STEM education to economically disadvantaged students in the Capital Region.
