Tammie DeYoe

Hello, my name is Tammie DeYoe, and I work for Empire’s Niagara Frontier Center in Cheektowaga New York, but I am located at the satellite office in Olean, NY. I also teach online courses for the Center for Distance Learning. I started my teaching career as an adjunct with Empire in 2008. Today, I am a part-time mentor. My focus is human services and social work. I was employed full time with the Seneca Nation of Indians for 12 years and provided individual, family, couples and group counseling in both mental health and substance abuse. I have since left that position, and I currently work for Universal Primary Care as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R Psychotherapy Privilege providing individual, family, and couples counseling. I have been in the counseling/human services field since 1994. I was also working toward a Doctorate in Social Work, but I have taken a break from this endeavor at this time. I have also attended multiple trainings surrounding treatment techniques, approaches, diverse populations, and more. I have enjoyed working in the social work field for over 24 years, and have been blessed to be part of Empire State College since 2008.
