Valeri Chukhlomin

Professor Chukhlomin is a recipient of 2020 SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Services. He has more than 30 years of international teaching, academic innovation and leadership experience in several countries, including positions of Chair, Dean, and Vice-President of a major public university in Russia; president and CEO of a niche consultancy firm in Australia; academic area coordinator and full professor in the US. His research interests include international distance learning, virtual learning environments, international marketing of education, cross-cultural conflicts and collaborations, competency-based training, career and global competencies. Dr. Val teaches International Business, International Marketing, Cross-Cultural Management, Economics, International Political Economy, Strategic Management, Strategic Executive Leadership, and Career Brand Management. Since 2014, Val has been leading the development of seven Coursera-based courses (the iMOOC, Career Brand Management Specialization and How to Get Skilled).
